Here is a new slideshow I created using the free and easy Kizoa platform. The slideshow features photographs I took on Easter Sunday at St. Michael's Church in Charleston.

Bulldog Blitz- Kickin' It With Kizoa!
I have issued a "Bulldog Scavenger Hunt" challenge to my students. Find and photograph as many bulldog statues and sidewalk carvings around campus as they can. Take the pictures and create a Kizoa slideshow. Here's an example of the finished product:

Back in Fall 2017 Jalen Ayers (now U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Ayers) did a great job with his Bulldog Kizoa!

New Kizoa Slideshow: SC State TV Studio in Action!
Now that the Spring 2016 semester is wrapping up, I wanted to put this Kizoa slideshow together using various photographs I took this semester in the Communications Program television studio and control room.
It was a busy and productive semester and school year! I'm ready to take a break, catch my breath...and take on the summer, and various projects at work and at home. I hope all our students have a great summer too!

Kizoa is the bomb! I really like this program and have students in various classes do fun slideshows with it.
Here's another SC State TV studio piece I did that is on YouTube.

Bulldog Scavenger Hunt by Kizoa!
The students and I had a lot of fun in the Fall 2014 semester Electronic Media Production II class creating slideshows using the fun Kizoa platform. The task was to go around campus and photograph as many SC State Bulldogs as possible- they are everywhere on campus!
Then put the photos together into a slideshow using Kizoa. Add some transitions, titles, animations, music and other effects and you can produce something very unique, flashy and creative.

Kizoa Slideshow: Magnolia Cemetery in All its Splendor
Kizoa is a fun, easy to use, slideshow and collage program for creating colorful presentations put to music and an array of special effects and animation.
I created this Kizoa slideshow about Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston. I have written two books about this grand 19th Victorian necropolis. You can read about them on another blog I have called BirdsEyeViews.

There are just a few easy steps to embed a Kizoa slideshow onto a Blogger post. After copying the HTML code while in Kizoa, start a new post, write a few sentences to set up the presentation, then click to HTML from Compose (in the post template's top left corner), paste the code into the template, then switch back to Compose, hit Update, then View blog, and then your slideshow should be there.
Kizoa is free, up to a point. So just sign up and start creating!
