Bulldog Barber Shop Sequence Shooting & Editing

My television productions students and I ventured over to the SCSU Student Center (the PITT) to the Bulldog Barber Shop where 30-plus year barber Thad Miller graciously let us videotape him plying his trade.

The shop is quite a deal for students, costing as little as $5 for a cut. And the quality is exceptional thanks to the veteran barber who runs the place.

Here's a video to demonstrate the craft of "in-camera editing," which is being organized and efficient in your shooting so that your editing will go smoothly with lots of opportunities for wide, medium and close-up shot sequences.

Students wanting to go to the Bulldog Barber must go to the Cashier's Office first to pay and get a receipt to hand over to Thad Miller upon arrival.
